Abstract: The impact of mobile learning on adult education in remote areas was studied to understand how mobile technology can facilitate educational access and improve learning outcomes. The objectives included assessing the accessibility of mobile learning resources, evaluating the effectiveness of mobile learning in improving educational attainment, and identifying challenges faced by adult learners in remote areas. A survey design was implemented due to its efficiency in collecting relevant data from a dispersed population. The sample size comprised 200 adult learners from remote areas, selected using purposive sampling to target those utilizing mobile learning tools. The case study was conducted in Delta, Nigeria, an area with significant remote and rural populations. Findings showed that mobile learning greatly improved access to educational resources, enhanced learning outcomes, and provided flexible learning opportunities that fit into the daily lives of adult learners. Challenges such as limited internet connectivity and digital literacy were also identified. Recommendations included increasing investment in mobile infrastructure, providing digital literacy training, and developing more localized educational content to address the specific needs of remote learners.
